559 on the elliptical this morning in my 31 minutes.  Watching Ferris Bueler’s Day Off and what a tribute to spoiled middle class privilege it is.  When I think about kids in Africa doing their homework under the street lights, Ferris Bueler is such an incredible jerk, con man, user.  Ungrateful snotnose.  And the movie treats him as a role model hero.  All adults are stupid, gullible, authoritarian idiots, trying to make sure the kids don’t have any fun and get an education.  School is irrelevant and teaches nothing of interest or value.  Yup.
